Requirements
General
Requirements
- The software contains a server component and a client component.
The client component is a web browser plugin that is freely available
for download but requires a server component in order to work.
The server component is available in two ways. For production
work you can either purchase the server component for installation
in your own network or let us host it for you on a virtual private
server.
For testing and evaluation purposes, you can use the server component
provided through our web service. Please note that the server
component provided by our web service runs on a public server
with limited hardware for testing purposes only; this component
will run much more faster when installed on a production server.
Client
Computer
- Each of your agents will need a fairly modern computer and monitor.
The computer should have a minimum of 512MB memory and 50MB disk
space. The minimum resolution for using the software is 1024x768
but a higher resolution like 1440x900 is much better.
Server
Computer
- If you want to host the Click N Speak server yourself, the server
computer should have at least 2GB memory and dedicated to running
the Click N Speak server only. Running other servers (e.g. a database
server) on the same computer will degrade performance.
Microsoft
Windows
- Each of your agents needs a computer running Microsoft Windows
2000 and above with Internet Explorer 6 and above. Older versions
of Windows and Internet Explorer may also work but they are not
supported. All versions of Windows Vista are supported.
Internet
Access
- Each of your agents will need internet access if you choose
to let us host the Click N Speak server for you, but if you choose
to host the server yourself, then your agents will only need internet
access to our database server if they want to use our online telephone directory.
Telephony
Hardware
- Each agent needs special telephony hardware in order to enable
his or her computer to make telephone calls. For personal or less
professional uses, the telephony hardware can be replaced with
an external speakerphone voice modem, but the professionaly hardware
is highly recommended over voice modems.
Each agent computer will also need an analogue telephone adapter
(ATA) in order for the software to support internet telephony
(VOIP). High quality headset that plugs into the telephony hardware
will also be needed for each agent.
License
Requirements
- Unlike most other dialers on the market, Click N Speak is configured
to support an unlimited number of telephone lines and agents right
out of the box, so you never have to pay us for extra telephone
lines or seats. The only restriction is that a team can contain
only one agent by default and additional licenses are required
in order to add more agents to a team.
How this works is that you create accounts on your Click N Speak
server and add agents to the accounts. Each account represents
a team of agents working together on a project with the ability
to share important data such as do not call list, calendars and
campaigns.
Team leaders do not require a license in order to login to their
accounts but other team members require a license in order to
login to the account. Thus, if you make each of your agent a team
leader, you can use the dialer with as many agents as you want
without needing to purchase team licenses. However, if you want
to expand a team to include more agents, then you will need to
purchase a license for that team. |
